FOA hiking Series: Wildflowers of Alta

Join us for this new event! Join Biology and Geology professors from Utah Valley University on a moderate hike to explore wildflowers and other highlights of the Albion Basin around Alta Ski Resort. The hike will include many stops to explore flowers and plants, to seek wildlife, and to discuss the geologic setting of a “textbook” example of beautiful mountain scenery created by glaciers.

After the hike, join us for sandwiches and cookies, and please bring a reusable water bottle for drinks.

Space is limited so RSVP is required. While attendance is free, we encourage donations to support ongoing efforts to protect Alta and preserve its beauty for generations to come. A suggested donation of $10 per person helps continue this important work.
